Planning your storage

Large heavy items you can stack other goods on are generally stored at the back of the space, Work forward and upwards with lighter, fragile items.

Store goods you'll need to access at the front of the space, leave a walkway to the rear if necessary. Using professional storage cartons and accessories gives maximum protection and makes storing and unpacking easier.

Remember to check and ensure that you do not store any perusable items, like food, or any flammable liquids or gas such as gas bottles, jerry cans or other fuel containers.

Number or lable your boxes as you pack items and make a list for your reference. We often have people come back to remove items that they need and they have no idea where they packed them in the unit or which box they are in.
